The Archewell Foundation and KABOOM! Community Project for the City of Uvalde

The Archewell Foundation partnered with the City of Uvalde and KABOOM! to create a play space for kids and the community to enjoy at DeLeon Park. Built to be a home for joy and healing, the playground is symbolic of the hope and strength the city has exhibited in its ongoing recovery following the tragic shooting at Robb Elementary School on May 24, 2022.

Meghan and members of the Archewell team first visited the people of Uvalde to offer their support in the days following the shooting. This project is an act of the continued support and connection to this community in need
